2.6 'Mini' Marathon Challenge

Could you get involved and walk, run, skip, ride or scoot 2.6 miles a day for 10 days (doesn’t have to be consecutive days) and help us raise funds to support families in Aberdeen whilst boosting your daily exercise and well-being?

Inspired by Allan Leslie, our London Marathon runner, and the 2.6 challenge campaign we’ve launched the Home-Start Aberdeen 2.6 ‘Mini’ Marathon Challenge throughout May.

A team of staff, volunteers and families from Home-Start Aberdeen have already joined efforts with runner Allan Leslie to each walk, jog or run (following government guidelines on exercise and social distancing) a marathon distance in ‘mini’ 2.6 mile sections (2.6 miles a day for 10 days) and raise funds as part of the 2.6 ‘Mini’ Marathon Challenge.

We’d love to see more individuals and/or families getting involved and running, walking, skipping, cycling or scooting 2.6 miles for 10 days.
